Which State Park is Best for Camping in North Carolina?

Carolina Beach is one of the favorites for camping. You’ll find secluded campsites with plenty of shade from the huge trees overhead. And if you’re into fishing, you’ll be right at the marina, ready to bring in a whopper of a fish!

You’ll be able to choose between cabin camping, campgrounds with electric hookups, or primitive camping. Choose the camping that best fits your family’s needs, and you’ll be very happy with Carolina Beach State Park.

Where is the Best Hiking in North Carolina?

Pisgah National Forest takes the cake on this one. Looking Glass Rock Trail is a hike you will not soon forget. It will take you about 3 hours to hike the 6 mile out and back trail. With it’s monstrous, reflective rock walls surrounding you as you gain 1700 feet in elevation, you’ll lose your breath multiple times, due to the elevation gain as well as the beauty surrounding you. When you reach the summit you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Don’t miss out on Pisgah National Forest. It’s a must see point in the great state of North Carolina!
